Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will coordinate the full life cycle recruitment process for the assigned CDC Foundation projects. This position will work under the guidance of the Human Resource Director, and the Talent Acquisition Manager.
Responsibilities:
· Participate with the recruitment team in meeting daily, weekly and monthly performance goals.
· Recruits and on-boards new recruitment team members.
· Implements a multi-faceted recruitment approach including various channels such as traditional sourcing, employee referrals, social media marketing, employee branding, and partnerships.
· Delivers high touch recruiting support for mission critical, high priority roles.
· Identifies issues and provides appropriate recommendations, suggestions and feedback for issues resolution. Proactively escalates issues to CDCF Leadership as needed.
· Participates and represents CDC Foundation at career fairs and other community engagement events designed to attract top talent
· Participates in and/or supports special projects and other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience; or ten years of relevant work experience.
Qualification:
· 5+ Years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment or related professional experience
· Extensive experience with various HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools.
· Critical thinker with the ability to solve problems and provide constructive feedback.
· Highly detail oriented, works well within a diverse team, demonstrates a high degree of initiative and flexibility, able to communicate effectively in a positive and professional manner, able to prioritize activities when under tight deadlines, and possesses analytical skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience reviewing and editing documents.
· Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at internal and external meetings.
· Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills; collegial; energetic; and able to develop productive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners.
· Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
