Join CDR Maguire Inc. as a certified Drone Pilot, where you’ll play a crucial role in various exciting projects, from disaster response to environmental monitoring. This isn’t just any ordinary job; you’ll be at the forefront of aerial data collection and analysis using advanced unmanned aerial systems (UAS). As a Drone Pilot, you’ll be responsible for operating cutting-edge equipment such as the DJI Matrice 300 RTK, capturing high-resolution imagery, videos, and vital data while adhering to FAA regulations and safety protocols. You’ll need to have a keen eye for detail and a solid background in drone operations and data collection, particularly in environmental or disaster management contexts. Before takeoff, you’ll check drones to ensure everything is running smoothly, analyze weather conditions for safe flights, and document all pre- and post-flight logs. During flights, you’ll monitor the drones, plan routes, navigate along designated paths, and collect valuable information or stunning aerial photographs. In addition to active piloting, you’ll also perform essential maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment testing. Collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners, you’ll need excellent communication skills to thrive in this diverse role. This is a fast-paced position that will often require you to make quick decisions, handle multiple tasks, and stay composed under pressure.
