Cell Phone / Computer Repair Technician

CPR Cell Phone Repair (www.cellphonerepair.com) is hiring bench technicians. We’re the nation’s largest independent chain of cell phone, computer and small electronic device repair centers, and an essential business in the State of Washington. We operate eight stores in Western Washington, from Tacoma to Bellingham, with current openings in most areas. Computer / Cell Phone Repair Bench Technician Required Responsibilities:

• Perform functional tests to triage damaged devices and diagnose failures
• Disassemble, test, and replace defective components
• Document repair diagnosis and outcomes
• Interact with customers/clients; deliver stellar service and sales support

Computer / Cell Phone Repair Bench Technician RequiredQualifications:

• Must have transportation or access to it
• Ability to work weekends
• Strong vision and manual dexterity
• Ability to read and follow repair documentation and videos

Computer / Cell Phone Repair Bench Technician Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be self-directed with ability learn and execute new processes quickly
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Computer / Cell Phone Repair Bench Technician Top Candidates will have:

• Technical certifications (soldering, electronic assembly, etc.)
• 1-3 years direct experience in electronic device repair, assembly or sales
• Experience using precision tools and instruments
• Familiarity with Cell Phone/GSM technologies and features
• Retail and point of sales operations experience a plus
