SR. MOTION DESIGNER

Location: Remote Job Type: Contract... Compensation Range: $36 - 43 per hour We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Motion Designer to join our client's dynamic team for a remote 6-month contract opportunity! As an experienced motion graphic designer, you must be a talented and motivated creative professional with the ability to lead and influence strategic visions that help our client solve their most complex business challenges with innovative solutions. Only candidates in Atlanta, Charlotte, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Portland, St. Louis, Tampa, Boston, Chicago and Philadelphia and other locations will be considered. Responsibilities: • Consult with internal clients to produce creative storytelling through preparing a design plan, storyboards, concept, and layout for motion graphic projects. • Design and create assets, bringing them to life and delivering high-quality, innovative motion graphic content. • Create complex animated graphics and infographics, kinetic typography, and pre/post-production video. • Edit raw video footage, adding elements to enhance motion graphics. • Produce project deliverables specializing in animation, audio, and video. • Lead project teams in motion graphic processes, methods, and techniques. • Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia/Digital Design or related field, or equivalent experience. • A digital creative portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills. • A minimum of five years of related motion design experience. • Creative thinker exhibiting a range of varied styles and techniques. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and a basic understanding of Microsoft Office software. • Knowledge of typography and appropriate use of brand colors, images, and fonts for effective legibility and functionality. • Expertise with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other associated tools. • Proficiency with various third-party motion graphic plugins (e.g., Red Giant Complete). • Knowledge/experience in 3D modeling/animation (Cinema 4D) preferred. • In-depth knowledge/experience of video production techniques. • Working knowledge of sound mixing and color correction. • Strong knowledge of post-production workflow and the latest video production techniques. • Solid understanding of video formats and compression techniques. • Experience in storyboarding video and motion graphics. • Demonstrated skills in pitching ideas to clients. • Ability to comprehend the big picture of client communications and objectives. • Proven ability to estimate time and track budgets. • Excellent project management skills, including managing multiple projects, prioritizing milestones, and influencing clients and design colleagues to deliver solutions within the time frame and budget. • Advanced communication skills and diplomacy with business partners, project owners, managers, and team members. • Experience in working with clients directly, assessing their needs, and providing creative solutions. • Track record of working with stock footage and music libraries. • Experience in collaborating with external agencies to hire voice-over talent. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. • Ability to leverage brand guidelines to develop a range of creative initiatives while utilizing various procedures and processes. • Proficient understanding of copyright regulations.
