The Peer Support Specialist will assist program participants in navigating barriers around benefits access, mental health, education, housing, and legal issues. The ideal candidate has lived experience and is committed to connecting individuals with the support needed for self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

Provide supportive services for participants dealing with various barriers
Meet with participants regularly to support their progress
Accompany program participants to appointments
Engage with participants' support networks
Coordinate with local mental health providers

Education

Peer Support Certification (Preferred)
Relevant experience in recovery support
