The OSP Engineer is responsible for the engineering and design of the most cost-effective, accurate and exceptional quality OSP construction work prints while meeting or exceeding all customer deadlines.

Are you ready to take your engineering skills to the next level? Centerline is excited to welcome a talented OSP Design Engineer to our remote team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting cost-effective and high-quality designs for our Outside Plant (OSP) construction work prints, ensuring we meet or exceed customer deadlines. You’ll leverage various customer proprietary systems, like NDS, to create engineered designs that enable us to place, splice, install, and maintain fiber and copper networks for the next generation of connectivity. Your day-to-day will involve identifying fiber and copper pairs at critical access points and designing paths that may be aerial or underground. Additionally, you’ll navigate requirements for attaching cables to utility poles and placing them in underground facilities—all while ensuring compliance with local regulations. Working in both indoor and outdoor environments means you’ll be facing the elements and travelling to customer sites, keeping your work dynamic and engaging.
