Central Dispatch Process Specialist (Remote - Michigan)

General Purpose and Scope of Position:

Coordinates application activities between assigned locations and assists in all aspects of customer service including product selection, order processing, and inventory management.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
  • Must be able to read, analyze and interpret written procedures and reports
  • Specific knowledge of the agricultural retail industry, including but not limited to, custom application and business integration of field services
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from other employees, customers, regulatory agencies, suppliers, etc
  • Strong collaboration and mediation skills, with the ability to influence without direct managerial authority
  • Build and maintain key relationships with business partners, AgLogic Team, Field-In, Risk Mgmt., P&C, DOT, Sales, Operations, and corporate support teams to influence and work toward a common goal
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to sit at a desk or computer terminal to perform writing, and keying/typing information
  • Drive and improve adoption and utilization of AgLogic and Field-In within directed locations
  • Ability to travel; approximately 15%

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

  • Coordinate application jobs between assigned locations
  • Analyze efficiency data and implement processes to drive efficiency
  • Increase support and visibility towards adoption of Application Technologies, including, but not limited to, AgLogic, Field-In, and Nextraq
  • Provide direct project oversight, management, and support for the Regional Process Manager- Application as needed
  • Serve as district support for Application
  • Serve as district resource for application and logistics issues
  • Provide tactical support for training and adoption, as well as data surrounding adoption to increase visibility and accountability
  • Support appropriate inventory controls and cycle counts
  • Coordinate transfers of products between branches and the main site
  • Inventory tracking and control
  • Answer telephone and computer inquiries about application orders
  • Communicate directions and instructions, both verbally and in writing, to customers, vendors, other employees, and the public
  • Extended hours and flexible schedules are a requirement during the busy season
  • Present a professional image through personal appearance and actions
  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits:

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $62,500 - $83,370. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
