Job Title: Production Manager – 2nd Shift
Reports To: VP of Operations
Work Location: Pine Bluff, AR
FLSA Status: Exempt
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to Midnight

About the Role:

We are hiring a committed and hands-on Production Manager to lead our 2nd Shift operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing production performance, coaching team leads, and ensuring operational goals are achieved in safety, quality, and output. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to support day-to-day execution and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise 2nd Shift production operations to ensure safety, quality, and output targets are met.
  • Provide hands-on coaching, performance feedback, and support to Value Stream Supervisors and production teams.
  • Track and manage team attendance, timekeeping, performance, and daily production metrics.
  • Partner with Maintenance to address and coordinate equipment issues or downtime.
  • Enforce all safety procedures and company policies across the shift.
  • Communicate daily goals and production expectations clearly to shift leadership and employees.
  • Collaborate with HR, Maintenance, Safety, and Quality to ensure compliance and resolve any issues.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce inefficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including team supervision and scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of production KPIs, quality, and safety practices.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, continuous improvement).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and production tracking systems.
  • Comfortable leading in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to Midnight, with flexibility to support business needs.

Working Conditions:

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and variable temperatures.
  • Requires regular standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and a visible floor presence.
  • PPE must be worn at all times: gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety toe footwear.
