About the role
As our founding Sales Manager, you will be leading our approach to generating revenues and completing commercial deals with our clients.
You will be working with a broad range of UK based Suppliers and Partners including some of the biggest brands in the world, delivering and presenting our compelling proposition, building business cases and closing deals.
Reporting to our CCO, you will have considerable Early Stage Influence as the first hire into the Sales function, helping to shape both the current and future sales strategy for the business in the UK and our international expansion plans.
What You’ll Do
As Sales Manager, you will be the driving force in our sales activity, leading our prospects through the sales funnel and creating a comprehensive business development strategy, including:
Research and identify new business opportunities - including existing clients, new markets, partnerships, products and services.
Create a Sales Plan to deliver revenue targets, managing pipeline and nurturing prospects during the sales cycle.
Deliver engaging and compelling client presentations with customers/prospects both face-to-face and virtually.
Develop new ways of reaching target prospect organisations and individuals, seeking out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
Negotiate commercial frameworks and contracts, working to a “win-win” outcome.
Articulate the value in the Cerve proposition by establishing strong business cases and commercial ROI propositions.
Foster and develop relationships with consultants and introducers alongside researching, attending and hosting webinars, conferences and events to build your network and profile.
Create and develop Revenue Forecasting tools, ensuring SLT have a clear view and understanding of current and future commercial deals.

A natural Networker, adding contacts daily to your portfolio of potential business introducers.
You have
A minimum of 5 years experience of Sales/Business Development within a software/SaaS environment to commercial, operational and IT stakeholders.
Proven record of delivering and exceeding revenue targets.
Strong knowledge and experience in consultant-led sales approaches.
Use of CRM - HubSpot (ideal), Salesforce or other.
Proficiency with Google Slides, Google Docs, Sheets, PowerPoint or Figma.
Experience in working with other internal team functions (Marketing, Implementation, Account Management) in developing coherent and joined-up plans.
[+] Experience with Enterprise end-to-end sales cycle.
