Position DescriptionWe are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our CGI team in Salt Lake City, UT! Take your talents to a world class consulting firm that inspires personal and professional growth and values your ideas.Your future duties and responsibilities• Document business and system processes and business requirements• Perform requirements gathering / clarifications with technical team, leveraging agile techniques• Lead assigned initiatives. Communicate status, issues or risks to management and stakeholders• Serve as the conduit between the business partners and the technical team through triage, research, requirements, testing, and support• Identify the business impact of system issues and facilitate communication as appropriate to stakeholders• Oversee defining objectives, creating plans to achieve objectives, tracking/reporting progress against objectives and budgets, driving execution of key projects and programs, coaching project team members, and improving project management processes• Provide overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts• Track and report project status on a consistent basis, including identifying, categorizing, and escalating project issues and risks that need leadership attention• Ensure that communicated and planned metrics (savings, cost, timing, etc.) are achieved• Communicate with clients regarding pricing, scheduling, invoice payments, and other issues and include other CGI staff as appropriate• Drive new business through building and fostering client relationships with business and technical executives in the Atlanta marketplace• Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching team members to ensure success in their roles• Display strong stakeholder management skills• Display strong organizational change management skillsRequired Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e.: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content)• Overall IT experience of 10+ years• 7+ years of experience in end-to-end implementation of projects including design, configuration, testing, training, cutover & reporting• Strong financials experience including but not limited to creating, tracking and managing a budget• Experience in managing customer facing projects• Previous Banking Industry Experience• Business and Technical Acumen• Experience delivering projects in a fast-paced environment• Experience in writing SOWs• Excellent communication and collaboration skills• SAFe Agile certification and experience#DICE“CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
