The Order to Cash team at Chainalysis splits their time between fine-tuning the details and evaluating at a 30,000 foot view of our business. Our job is to help the company plan for growth by optimizing the allocation of our resources.
As a Billing & Collections Analyst, you’ll be responsible for implementing business processes for receiving and processing customer orders. You’ll communicate with both sales and the revenue operations team to resolve any issues and ensure the collection of a high volume of AR month to month.
In this role, you’ll:
Process and post daily receipts to appropriate accounts
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
Monitor accounts receivable aging to ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures
Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and negotiate payment terms
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and customer inquiries in a timely manner
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing and customer issues
Maintain accurate customer records and account information, including customer management cases and queue
Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable
Assist in improving efficiency within AR / Collections by sharing ideas to streamline processes and reduce outstanding balances
We’re looking for candidates who have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 3+ years of directly relevant experience
Experience across the Order to Cash process (billing, collections, cash apps, and reconciliation)
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
Strong Excel skills and experience with invoicing in large volumes
Nice to have experience:
Systems experience with Salesforce, Netsuite, and/or Tesorio
