In this first-of-its-kind role, the Director of Business Operations will be responsible for a portfolio of key cross-functional programs and initiatives at Chainalysis. To start, these initiatives will be related to operationalizing and streamlining commercialization and GTM processes, including pricing, product launch, GTM expansion and will expand to other highly impactful cross-functional solutions (i.e., IPO and company readiness, international expansion, etc.).
An ideal candidate knows what it’s like to manage cross-company strategic initiatives in a high-growth B2B tech company, enjoys solving complex problems and driving results, and works effectively with executives and teams across the organization. They will have a significant impact on scaling the Chainalysis business and be highly visible at senior levels of the Company.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end management of strategic cross-company initiatives, orchestrating across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Product/R&D Management
Create alignment upwards and horizontally on strategy, goals/objectives and success metrics and establish a program structure that sets clear expectations and creates an operational rhythm biased towards deliverables
Translate company and executive goals into clear and comprehensive project plans, including deliverables for teams across Chainalysis, and lead end-to-end design, execution and implementation
Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership team, initiative leaders, and advisory and consultant groups
Implement streamlined processes and best practices to bolster operational rigor and collaboration throughout the commercialization process
Develop executive and cross-company communications, synthesizing complex information into compelling presentations designed to educate and empower leadership to drive strategic decisions
Anticipate and proactively identify problems based on strong organizational awareness, coupled with a deep understanding of business priorities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field; Master’s in Business or Business Administration preferred
7-10 years of experience at a management consulting firm or high growth technology company
Strong comprehension of critical SaaS operations (i.e. software delivery and go-to-market operations, commercialization)
Experience in high-impact strategic initiatives at a high-growth tech company
Autonomous and self-motivated; able to build and execute independently or as part of a team; comfortable in bringing structure to ambiguity
Detailed oriented, systematic thinker, and thoughtful executor
Ability to identify and act upon an opportunity or problem without explicit instruction
Experience leading cross-functional teams by influence, without direct authority
Demonstrated track record of working with and earning the trust and confidence of executives and leaders at high-growth tech companies
