Food & Beverage Supervisor

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct the daily operation of the Housekeeping department and public areas of the hotel
  • Perform daily inspection of rooms and public areas
  • Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures Strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department
  • Regularly inspect all fixtures, fitting, and appliances to ensure compliance to standards and take action as necessary to conform to Company standards
  • Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the housekeeping team
  • Maintain good communication and work relationships with other departments, vendors, and guests
  • Recruit, manage, train and develop the Housekeeping team and manage staff performance issues in compliance with organizational policies and procedures 
  • Understand team member and guest satisfaction results 
  • Manage housekeeping inventory and maintain par level of linen and supplies 
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures including but not limited to organizational, brand, OSHA, sanitation, and Health & Safety
  • Attend all required meeting and trainings
  • Perform other Duties as assigned


Skills & Abilities:
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner 
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by team members and guests
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines 
  • Approach all encounters with guests and team members in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner


Education & Experience:
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • At least 3 years of management experience in a hotel 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
