Senior Project Manager, Science Program Management

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is dedicated to solving society’s toughest challenges through science, technology, and philanthropy. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Science Program Management team to lead complex operational systems and project portfolios in a data-driven scientific environment.

Responsibilities

Design and manage complex operational systems and processes across the Data portfolio.
Drive cross-functional collaboration and strategic decision-making with stakeholders.
Develop and implement coordination frameworks to align goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Maintain program roadmaps, identify risks, and recommend strategic adjustments.
Support strategic planning, including goal-setting cycles and leadership reviews.
Design and implement resource planning, progress tracking, and performance measurement systems.
Manage operational budgets, timelines, and provide project management for team activities.
Lead planning and execution of team-wide initiatives, strategic meetings, and shared learning.
Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and shared tools.
Continuously improve workflows to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

Education
