The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative was founded in 2015 to help solve some of society’s toughest challenges. Through collaboration, providing resources and building technology, our mission is to help build a more inclusive, just and healthy future for everyone.

Across our work in Science, Education, and within our communities, we pair technology with grantmaking, impact investing, and collaboration to help accelerate the pace of progress towards our mission. Every day, CZI issue experts (academics, teachers, scientists, strategists, and activists) are working side by side with our technology team to develop tools and products that will help researchers, educators, students, and community leaders achieve their goals.
