About the Role:

Be part of Wiley’s Professional Learning Business Development team! We are responsible for building our Partner and Certified Practitioner channel networks, working hands-on with independent coaches & consultants, as well as internal practitioners who want to get certified in order to use our Everything DiSC and Five Behaviors learning solutions with their learners.

Professional Learning, a division of Wiley, creates products and services to help people become more effective in their workplace and achieve career success. Our product families include Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviors assessment-based learning solutions. Our dynamic Channel Development Associates serve as a consultative sales team that qualifies leads and engages them in conversations around our bundled certification options.

How you will make an impact:

  • Handle inbound inquiries from both internal practitioners and independent coach/consultant businesses, understanding their goals and needs, and selling them either our Certification or Partnership bundled package through consultative sales calls where you’ll educate leads on our offers.

  • Effectively describe the value proposition of our solutions, moving leads through the sales funnel to purchase a certification package that meets their needs.

  • Proactively reach out to leads who have previously inquired, following up to determine what further information is needed and using best practices to re-kindle interest or engagement when necessary.

  • Work in a space with a high level of autonomy, with room to be creative and innovative in your work while having support from high-performing peers.

  • Have fun while working hard as part of a collaborative team that is rewarded for both individual and team achievements.

  • High levels of emotional intelligence.

  • A combination of sales and customer-service mindset.

  • Stellar interpersonal communication skills, especially around summarizing a core offer to match unique client needs.

  • Self-motivator who can work well in an autonomous environment.

  • A team-oriented, collaborative workstyle.

  • Working knowledge of workplace training and development.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree—any major.

  • Proficiency with technology, and willingness to master tools that you don’t know.

We are committed to fair, transparent pay, and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The target base pay range for this position is $41,300 to $60,600. This range represents Wiley’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
