About the Role:

Matterport is seeking a talented Channel Sales Development Representative to support fast growing demand for our revolutionary technology and products in our inbound customer base. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, high-energy entry-level sales person to be on the front line with a high tech startup working with prospective clients in our emerging markets (LATAM and Canada)

Our Sales Development team is a critical function at Matterport. As the tip of the spear, you will open new sales conversations and qualify sales opportunities from inbound leads. You will be on the front lines of our channel business and as such, you must be comfortable with selling on the phone, talking to strangers, communicating our value proposition, and building our sales pipeline!

What you will do:

    • Identifying, qualifying and routing sale opportunities to our Value Added Resellers (VARs)
    • Monitoring inbound lead funnel - via phones, live chat, and webform
    • Speaking to value and return on investment vs. technical functionality
    • Managing a high volume lead distribution/QA process through different sales platforms with a strategy on prioritization of your time
    • Working leads from Qualification to transfer to Value Added Reseller
    • Researching and understanding various lines of business and personas
    • Updating sales interaction in Salesforce to ensure efficient lead management
    • Scheduling and holding telephone, web, and in-person meetings with prospective customers
    • Collaborate with Channel Account Manager to evaluate and plan to achieve revenue objectives

Who you are:

    • Builder mentality and adaptable to change - things move quickly here
    • Be able to communicate (written and spoken) English and Spanish required, Portuguese in addition is Bonus
    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
    • Preferably 2-4 or more years of sales experience, ideally in a B2B and/or services-oriented business (not required if you are hungry and looking to break into sales)
    • A growth mindset and openness to receive constructive feedback
    • High degree of attention to detail and ability to prioritize time to meet weekly deadlines
    • Experience with technology tools such as Zoom, G-suite, Slack, Salesforce.

      The US OTE salary range for this full-time position is $60,900 to $97,600 (paid hourly) + equity + benefits. This range inclusive of base plus commission against targets. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
