Channel Sales Manager

We're looking for a talented Channel Sales Manager to help drive success and maximize partner profitability across our business. Evolv’s Channel Sales Manager plays a crucial and influential member of the Revenue team. As a Channel Sales Manager, you will build strategic relationships with other assigned partners that are helping us on our mission to make the world a safer place. You will consult with partners to help drive their business goals and ensure they are providing incredible experiences to anyone that experiences our product.

What you will do/Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and manage partner relationships (regional) and build a sales pipeline by working with your partners to exceed sales goals in a defined territory
  • Develop the ability to dissect a partner’s business goals and help them develop a better plan for achieving them
  • Become an expert at presenting how Evolv solutions can help a partner improve the fundamentals of their business.
  • Close new business at or above quota level by identifying partners who are willing to invest both time and money in leveraging our software and training
  • Work with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy as the firm introduces enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases new products
  • Define and implement strategic business plans/communicate regularly on funnel/account/partner status, resource requirements, challenges, and successes.
  • Partner, partner, partner - outstanding accomplishments are the result of great teamwork, and success at the enterprise level "takes a community". Work cross-functionally with other parts of the Evolv Team (Sales, Marketing, Support and more) to ensure expectations and goals are defined, met, and attained in creating and closing opportunities from the engaged Partners.
  • Manage potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Regularly leverage leading tools and technology - Salesforce, Office365, Slack, Zoom, etc. - to work effectively both virtually/remotely and on-premise at client and partner sites.
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future.


Requirements

  • 5-10 years of Enterprise/channel selling experience of 5-10 years working in field sales through Solution Partners or in a Channel Management role for enterprise companies focused on security, life safety, surveillance, or screening.
  • Have the desire and commitment to do what it takes to be successful in sales
  • Have a positive outlook and a strong ability to take responsibility for their successes and failures.
  • Have exceptional consultative selling skills and closing skills
  • Are Top Producers in their current role
  • Have a sharp focus on their goals and a belief that their daily, weekly, and monthly activities will help them achieve them.
  • Proven track record of over-plan sales and channel growth.
  • A history of working effectively in multi-channel, multi-product firms where internal/external bridge-building and partnering is an essential quality.
  • Excellent business insight! Understanding of how to position, sell and negotiate value, calculate return on investment, and strategic selling.
  • An extreme sense of responsibility and accountability. We have ambitious goals and need you to execute relentlessly to "get stuff done".
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
