We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our Service Team based out of our Laredo, TX office.
Responsibilities:
• Perform required maintenance and repairs on transport refrigeration units with a primary focus on trailer refrigeration units, such as Electrical, mechanical, engine based repairs
• Experienced with refrigerant based repairs and safe handling of compressed gases.
• Able to work in a shop or mobile environment
• Ensure high standards of workmanship focusing on quality and safety
• Maintaining and account for parts and inventory accuracy
• Ensure compliance with company policies, protocol, safety, waste reduction, and cost efficiency
• Other tasks assigned by supervisors or management
The successful candidate will be a motivated and conscientious team player capable of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and the following skills and abilities:
• Five (5) years’ experience with Carrier and Thermo King Reefer and heater units in the transportation industry
• Refrigeration experience a must
• Dealer or OE Manufacturer training an asset
• Technical aptitude and interest in obtaining additional training periodically
• Proficient at reading vendors' technical manuals, schematics, software, telematics
• Proficiency with all tools of the trade
• PC literate
• Strong communication and time management skills
