About Charles River Media:

Charles River Media (CRMi)  provides video production services, including in-studio and on-location shoots, post production, and virtual event/live-streaming production. We work with a diverse range of corporate, commercial, and nonprofit clients. The work is a mix of corporate and non-profit storytelling, documentaries, television commercials, product demos, event coverage, and internal and external communications for large companies. As we grow, we’re seeking a Director of Sales to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview

We are  looking for a high energy and motivated ambassador for Charles River Media. This position is focused on identifying, pursuing and retaining new clients that are a fit for CRMi  to help us grow 30% year-over-year. We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who can look at our team, skills, resources, and talents and identify and secure new business.

The Numbers

  •  75% Sales - pursuing and responding to new business opportunities
  • 25% Strategy and Logistics - fostering your accounts/ clients and collaborating  with the team

Relationships

  • Ability to bring a book of business based on experience and connections within the corporate media production or television commercial spheres.
  • Ability to bring qualified new leads and connections that could be nurtured and leveraged into new opportunities
  • Identify/qualify new clients & pipeline of new opportunities. 
  • Build collateral and response materials for opportunities and upfront presentations
  • Attend conferences and networking events

The Team

  • Reports to CEO
  • Collaborates with leadership team
  • Fosters/guides project team members to understand business mix and client dynamics

Accountability

  • New client acquisition of $300,000+ in profitable NET revenue in 2025, $500,000- $700,000 in 2026. 
  • Retention of clients and associated revenue is paramount
  • 6-Month check in for CRMi or candidate to opt out

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Relationships / Network of C-level influencers
  • 5+ years in a corporate settings
  • 5+ years of proven relationship management experience
  • Excellent presentation skills - can command the attention/respect of a board room with C-level leadership in attendance
