We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Data Analyst to create, maintain, support, and improve complex technology operations for compliance and legal custom technology application platforms. You will be working with a team of talented technologists and SMEs who bring a lot of energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to provide value.
Responsibilities Include:
• Analyze and document technical specifications and design functionality around application.
• Perform gap analysis to determine configuration and development changes.
• Be able to work independently on large technology projects and programs with moderate complexity and scope.
• Evaluating complex user requests and clarifying and communicating the objectives in a clear and concise manner.
• Be able to look for improvements to programs, processes, and services.
• Gather, Identify, research and document business requirements during meetings with various teams to determine scope.
• Communication with business and product partners as well as technology and vendor counterparts during system, process and workflow/data design.
• Making a positive influence on your team members and peers.
What you have
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands on experience gained through 5+ years in a software development role.
• Detailed functional knowledge with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)/Mantas coupled with end to end life cycle of the product.
• Strong analytical skills combined with sql knowledge to troubleshoot data issues.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite of product, Visio a plus.
• Strong experience in developing data lineage documentation.
• Strong knowledge of underlying Oracle tables, integration points and experience with Oracle support.
• Experience in SQL, ETL, data profiling, and data modeling.
• Experience in writing stories in an Agile environment and the ability to drive business efficiencies through process metrics and technology.
• Exposure to Jira and scrum methodologies
• Strong understanding of data governance in the regulatory environment, specifically experience with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Broker Compliance (BC)
• Well versed with banking/trading lines of businesses and compliance related terminology.
• The ability to work independently and to effectively interact and collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and leaders.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• The ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies.
• Strong customer focus with a sense of ownership and determination to drive solutions in a collaborative environment
