Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.Consult with development teams, providing application security guidance and recommendations.Perform secure code reviews.Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define strategy and scope of software automation requirementsDeliver new concepts and features through software automation developmentWhat you haveRequired:Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering OR related degree and/or practical experienceAdvanced Java/.NET development skills, typically built through 7+ years of applicable experience developing in Java, .NET/.NET Core/JavaScriptAdvanced scripting/coding experience in C# and other languagesExperience with source code repositories tools such as BitBucket, GitHubExperience with databases (SQL Server is preferred)Professional experience with distributed multi-tier applicationsAbility to troubleshoot and debug software issuesAbility to conceptualize the best tactical approach for a team to deliver a solutionDemonstrated ability and interest in coaching and mentoring other engineersAbility to effectively communicate complex software solutions to both technical and nontechnical audiencesEffective relationship builder: ability to partner cross-functionally, cross-enterprise and work effectively with various levels of the organizationExperience with Security tools such as SAST (Veracode preferred), DAST, Threat ModelingPreferred:Experience building automation solutions through software developmentKnowledge of Web Content Management SystemsTechnical security certifications such as: CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP, CEHExperience with cloud technologiesExperience with the Secure Software Development Life CycleExperience with OWASP, MITREIn addition to the salary range, this position is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.What’s in it for youAt Schwab, we’re committed to empowering our employees’ personal and professional success.
