Schedule: Full Time Days (TEMPORARY ROLE)

Shift: 40 Hours a week – THIS IS A 7 MONTH ROLE.

At AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, formerly Shawnee Mission Medical Center, you're more than just a number on a chart. The role you’ll contribute:

Concurrent and retrospective abstraction of identified Data and charts. QA and report follow-up with physicians and team members to help ensure all elements are accounted for. Participates in team meetings to identify opportunities for PI within the medical group

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Receives selected identified medical record list from corporate office based on sample size of records to be abstracted on a monthly basis at facility.

• Familiar with all parts of the medical record and chart review.

• Reviews and abstracts information timely.

• Validates that diagnosis supports record to be included in abstraction process and appropriate patient population.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Previous healthcare experience required

• Must have great attention to detail

• Must be able to work independently
