Outbound Product Manager at Checkmarx in Remote

We are looking for a outbound program manager to join the Checkmarx Product Management team to help us lead an exciting, brand-new offering. This role requires a vision for delivering impactful customer experiences while having a broad understanding of the security challenges associated with API's'(REST API's, SOAP API's, Swagger Files, API Gateways), and knowledge of application security. The program manager needs to be a collaborative individual that is data-driven, action-focused, and comfortable interacting with customers globally. The ideal candidate will have a solid mix of both technical and business skills with the ability to transition between working with development teams, customers, and field-facing teams, and experience working in a fast, startup environment. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables: oBe an Outbound PM focal point for customers and sales in the region to maximize CheckMarx's sales; oBuild customers & developers regional communities, present at meetups, host... webinars, write technical blogs; oEngage with customers with getting product feedback at scale from your assigned theatre; oLead workshops with key customers; oConduct competitive analysis and maintain current information regarding the competitive activity; oSpend time collaborating with key stakeholders to bring innovative products to market that meet business, quality, and functional goals; oContinuously educate the broader product management team on your customers' stories and pain points, collect feedback and a new feature request from the field, and make sure they are prioritized accordingly in the roadmap; oWork with marketing to create regionally focused content, including producing case studies, customer videos, etc. and help close sales deals as needed in the capacity of a subject matter expert; oCreate sales enablement sessions and support the desired content; oSupport RPFs and complex deals; oSupport Partners & Channels regional activities. REQUIREMENTS Desired Skills & Experience: oBe tech-savvy with 3 years of broad experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., developer advocate, management consulting, product management, product marketing or sales engineering) in the fields that CheckMarx plays in (Application security, code scanning, Vulnerability Assessment, IT asset management / Cyber Threat Intelligence); o3 years of software development experience; odeep understanding of software development life cycle and cloud technologies; oOutstanding communication skills, experience working with a variety of stakeholders in a collaborative, global, remote environment; oExcellent presentation skills, previous experience presenting to small audiences as well as large-format conferences; oStrong quantitative and business analysis skills; oAbility to prioritize numerous simultaneous tasks; oProven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams; oPrevious product management experience is beneficial but not essential for this role; oThis position will eventually require up to 30% travel to customers and other locations worldwide. Ways to stand out from the crowd: o 3 Years as a sales engineer/customer success manager/presales / Technical account manager - with hands-on experience; o Comfortable presenting product demos to a technical audience; o Be the subject matter to customers about their software security hygiene program; o Experience with the Federal industry.
