Chevo is expanding our Portfolio Management practice, which is one of our core competencies. We have ongoing needs for CPIC Analysts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to program/project management, portfolio management, capital planning and investment control (CPIC), program governance, and system development life cycle management activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing hands on strategic and tactical advisory services to improve the efficacy of the Agency’s CPIC process while reducing complexity and burden
- Making recommendations for improvements to the project and portfolio management policies, procedures, and processes using industry best practices in CPIC and portfolio management.
- Serve as primary point of contact between Agency and Components regarding Component CPIC Activities to ensure effective communication between both sets of organizations
- Provide directed advisory and coaching support to Components CPIC staff and key stakeholders on CPIC processes and programmatic issues.
- Participate in scoring process for Annual Major Business Case submissions, Non-Major Business Cases, and Standard IT Infrastructure investments for quality and completion as needed.
- Review of monthly submissions for quality and completion; approve Baseline Change Requests.
- Gather and organize input for bi-monthly CAG CPIC meetings.
- Participate in bi-monthly Agency CPIC meetings and create meeting minutes within 48-hours after conclusion of meetings.
- Review and update Agency CPIC guidance as changes occur from OMB and other oversight bodies.
- Assist in developing and delivering annual CPIC training courses.
- Monitor and respond to various requests and inquiries in CPIC Desk Officer mailbox.
- Update and maintain CPIC SharePoint site.
- Perform various ad hoc analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 to 7 years total experience
- 2 to 3 years' experience in CPIC desired
- Experience in managing investments from a portfolio perspective.
- Ability to pass client security clearance requirements.

- Prior experience in a Federal Government Consulting role
- SharePoint experience
- TBM experience
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to manage several tasks under tight time constraints.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present a polished, professional, and diplomatic image to clients.
- Strong analytical skills – assertive and inquisitive manner that allows the individual to take indirectly related and orally communicated information and transform it into actionable information.
