The Role

As adMarketplace’s Chief Financial Officer, you will provide strategic financial direction and work across the organization to help us in meeting our aggressive growth targets. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all facets of financial management including (but not limited to): optimizing financial structure, driving financial modelling and forecasting, compensation strategy, mergers and acquisitions and board related activities. The successful candidate will foster new ways of thinking, helping us to scale domestically and internationally.  

This person will oversee and direct the Finance and Accounting functions of the company. This position reports directly to the President/COO.

Responsibilities

  • Provide insightful and trusted counsel to the President/COO and Chief Executive Officer, and management team on both financial and broad-based business issues related to the overall performance of the Company
  • Serve as a key member of the senior executive team in providing input to management peers regarding the financial implications of all major business decisions, as well as strategic input in shaping the Company’s business objectives
  • Manage the business forecast, budgeting, company-wide SOPs, KPIs and Compensation strategy
  • Managing global businesses with multiple legal entities
  • Responsible for overseeing margin, yield and performance optimization strategy 
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement
  • Manage external relationships with auditors, tax preparers, (including audit process to completion) and maintain compliance with all tax regulations

Requirements

  • Current senior executive reporting to CEO with 15+ years in corporate finance roles of increasing scope and responsibility 
  • Background in scaling a global business within the digital media, adtech or performance marketing space
  • Proven experience in debt and equity financing, investor relations, and mergers & acquisitions experience (M&A exp required)
  • Experience in constructing complex, multi-year client contracts and pricing models that align financial incentive and maximize profitability
  • People leader able to build and develop a diverse team
  • Ability to prioritize and work proactively and independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong FP&A skill set with analytical, intellectually curious mindset
  • Ability to develop and implement systems, tools, and processes increasing business clarity
  • Financial industry experience a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to translate the strategy of the organization into actionable, quantitative plans for the finance function
