What’s the opportunity?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with deep martech expertise, developer of people and a humble yet confident leader. This person has experience at high-growth B2B companies and would own all areas of marketing, including but not limited to: product marketing, demand generation, content marketing, branding, public relations, analyst relations, digital and events.
As a member of our executive team reporting to the Chief Business Officer, the CMO is a key collaborator in establishing our broader company strategy, leads global marketing, shares the responsibility to drive growth and represents Treasure Data externally.
Responsibilities:
Be the brand strategist, evangelist and ambassador
Drive category as well as company thought leadership
Define, develop and run global demand gen programs
Drive all facets of digital across awareness/perception, demand generation, communities, enablement as well as optimizing the tech stack to power it all
Plan, organize and implement both online and in-person customer events, conferences, exhibitions
Conduct market research, identify insights and help steer our company to focus on the right industries, segments, audiences and personas
Produce high-quality content ranging from core product content, use cases focused on value to industry point-of-views across a variety of formats including presentations, Whitepapers, Case Studies, Blogs, Videos, and more
Take a data driven approach to measure and constantly optimize all activities and campaigns across all geos
Provide ongoing reporting, develop practical insights, share and drive innovation
Manage the marketing budget and resources across all regions to align with above
Who You Are
Entrepreneurial with a driven personality, not only highly analytical and strategic, but also creative and hands-on in nature
Held a marketing leadership role at a 100m+ company.
Proven experience and success across all fields of marketing (product, demand gen, branding, strategy, social media, communications, business development)
Strong understanding of inbound and outbound marketing for the enterprise, as well as "land and expand" B2B SaaS sales;
Demonstrable experience of positioning a company in a competitive market and winning market share;
Experience in enterprise go-to-market models;
Value approach to marketing and a strong attention to detail;
Clear, effective communication skills and experience in a collaborative, transparent, and hands-on environment;
Good eye for design and creative assets;
Low ego and high intellectual curiosity.
