Chief of Staff (Full-Time)

Rise is a New York City-based future of work startup, and we are looking for a full-time Chief of Staff. We are a venture-backed, pre-seed stage company poised for fast growth in a massive space.

We are looking for a Chief of Staff (CoS) to be the right-hand person to the CEO, where you will play a critical role in directing day-to-day operations and strategic projects.

We are not looking for an administrative assistant but an extension of the CEO, freeing up her time to allow the company to scale faster and more strategically. We’ll craft role that fits your strengths and passions. You’ll get to wear lots of hats: company strategy, fundraising, business operations, marketing, sales, hiring, product, etc ‐ whatever is the top priority. We’ll divide and conquer. The role can be boiled down to: creatively solve any problem that gets thrown your way with relentless execution. In exchange, you’ll get front row seats taking a company from 0 to 1. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and problem-solver with an entrepreneurial spirit who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done. You should be early enough in your career that no task is too big or small but with enough experience to be able to see the broader long-term vision.

In order to do well in this role, you should be detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and curious about startups and entrepreneurship. This role is perfect for a tenacious early professional or future entrepreneur who wants to get their hands dirty at an early-stage company.
