Position Summary:


The Chief of Staff is critical to the success of the regional sales function known within Bentley as the Account Advancement Group. Not only is this role expected to provide day-to-day support to the Vice President Account Advancement Americas - giving them additional leverage and amplifying their impact - but it will also own critical, commercial, and transformational projects.


As Chief of Staff you will work closely with the Global Account Advancement leadership team in driving the rhythm of the business- thinking holistically and strategically about key operational rhythms, business processes, procedures which support the business and enable effective execution.


Within this role, you will be focused on continuous operational and business improvement and effectiveness through means of using your expertise to identify issues that impede business group success. You will streamline time management, information, and decision processes to be more effective for the VP, America’s, and the Account Advancement organization and become a trusted business advisor.


Your Day-to-Day:

  • Support the Account Advancement Vice President, Americas in preparing fortnightly and quarterly regional operating reports, key MBO accomplishment presentations for external and internal audiences such as users, conferences, senior leaders of the company, all Hands meetings etc.
  • Enable a best-in-class sales pipeline, forecasting and renewal operating cadence and practice. This will include everything from gathering data, improving predictive measures, running analysis, monitoring continuous path to plan progress, and facilitating forecast calls.
  • Chair team meetings, including developing the agenda to review strategic topics and monitor operational health such as success indicators, budget, colleague engagement, etc.
  • Act as a proxy to the VP in requested meetings.
  • Drive colleague development initiatives in conjunction with VP and HR Business Partner. Examples can include defining and executing hiring strategies, supporting the development of a learning agenda, assisting with inclusion and compliance initiatives, and instituting policy/guidelines to respond to group’s feedback/improvement areas.
  • Work closely with Sales Enablement team regarding onboarding and continuous learning methodology approaches in a clear roadmap to improve sales efficacy.
  • Own and drive a handful of long-term change management initiatives each year. This will involve a mixture of project management skills, communication and presentation skills, strong collaboration across departments, and the initiative to push projects to completion.
  • Act as an intermediary between leadership, finance, and cross functional teams when modeling workforce planning, and other key annual planning modeling outputs.
  • Manage and coordinate with Executive Assistant to optimize time and efficiency of VP Americas through daily calendar and travel management.
  • Serve as a One Bentley cultural ambassador of the organization, pulsing sentiment of team and representing interests to AAG Senior Leadership.
  • Accelerate alignment across teams, acting as connective tissue to communicate priorities and integrate initiatives that lead to positive business results.


What You Bring to The Team:

  • 3+ years in a technology company in relevant revenue operations role.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable outputs. Demonstrated experience in analyzing complex business challenges, breaking them up into smaller pieces and formulating concrete actions.
  • Hands-On Approach: Willingness to roll up your sleeves and actively contribute to the execution of daily processes and projects. Ability to balance strategic thinking with a practical, results-oriented mindset. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to distill complex concepts into clear and concise messages. Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively influence and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proven experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and foster a positive work environment.
  • Must possess a well-developed ability to read the internal and external landscape.
  • Work with VP and broader group to identify the root causes of cross-functional inefficiencies and implement systemic improvements to upgrade processes and promote efficiencies. Communicate changes and performance results across the sales organization and cross-functional teams
  • Build trust across organization and create accountability for delivery of high quality and timely results.
  • Exceptional grasp of the Bentley business including standard business practices related to Sales/Revenue Operations processes and systems including sales quotas.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions
  • This role requires 20% travel.
