Child Care Internship

Join one of Pennsylvania’s fastest growing companies! WebstaurantStore is looking for teacher candidates to join our growing company as Interns within our Early Childhood Learning Center. This role focuses on the education of, and providing exceptional service to, the children of the employees of Webstaurantstore and Clark Associates. and is a key part of growing our business.

As an Intern you will:

• Assist with daily routines and activities within the classrooms
• Work cooperatively with the co-teachers to support children's learning
• Create a learning environment tailored to the needs of the students in the classroom
• Uphold high standards of learning and health and safety regulations (Including DHS and NAEYC)
• Provide exceptional service to children of the employees of Webstaurant Store and Clark Associates
• Special projects as assigned

Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to constantly kneel, bend, squat, reach, crawl, and stand throughout shift indoors and outdoors
• Must be able to sit and actively participate in learning at the child’s level (on the floor, in a chair, on the ground outside).
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Candidates must be working toward completing a higher educational degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and basic knowledge of DHS regulations as well as NAEYC best practices and hold a current Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification.
