Maintains functional operation and integrity of data systems including analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools. Develops written reports, briefs, presentations, and other communication materials to internal and external partners. Proactively supports the efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and to promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.Experience• Minimum five years related experience requiredPreferred Qualifications• Master’s degree in public health, health promotion, epidemiology, or a similar disciplineEducation• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health promotion, epidemiology, or a similar disciplineCertification Summary• No professional certifications requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Proficient in analytical, statistical, reporting and business intelligence tools (i.e., REDCap, Microsoft Excel and Access, SAS, R, or STATA)• Understanding of the principles and practices of health promotion/wellness program evaluation• Strong strategic thinking, analytical experience, and ability to manipulate data• Demonstrated experience with a relational database environment• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proven project management skills, specifically, the ability to manage time effectively to support multiple assignments, shift priorities in accordance with need and work both independently and within teams• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationJob Responsibilities• Oversees the design and development of data collection and program evaluation tools, including program design, survey instruments, logic models, evaluation plans, and interview guides.• Develop, implement, analyze, and report on results of evaluation activities for program and process improvement.• Maintains information and data management processes and infrastructure. Monitors the accuracy, completeness, and validity of all information. Troubleshoots technical issues and supports team members to maintain smooth workflow processes.• Research and recommend best practices in program design, evaluation planning, research methods, data collection, and data synthesizing.• Conducts research and analyzes data, processes and systems related to assigned projects; design, advise, and implement project action plans.• Manages database environment and troubleshoots technical issues.• Shares information and recommendations through a variety of channels. Manages reporting of outcomes and results, ensuring data is accurately summarized. This includes incorporating local, state, and national scope related to select metrics, as well as background research and supplemental documentation to support leaders, meetings, research proposals, and peer-reviewed journal manuscripts.• Mentors program coordinators to implement evaluation frameworks and reporting program outcomes.
