The SECURITY ENGINEERING MANAGER is responsible for managing and mentoring all members of the Security Engineering team including CM staff and contracted resources. The SECURITY ENGINEERING MANAGER will provide clear work objectives and expectations for each member of the team.
The SECURITY ENGINEERING MANAGER will help to develop processes and procedures for the Security Engineering team to ensure best practices are followed and a standard of accuracy and timeliness is met for deliverables provided by the team. Input on the expected configuration, management, and monitoring of CM's security tools will be provided to the team. Facilitating successful project management by allocating resources, establishing timelines, and tracking completion of tasks will be performed by this role.
The SECURITY ENGINEERING MANAGER will be expected to take a hands on approach working with the same security toolsets as the other members of the team. This individual will act as the primary resource for CM's enterprise firewalls. This includes the successful installation, configuration, management, and monitoring of the firewalls and firewall management tools. Other security tools will be primarily managed by the other members of the team.
The SECURITY ENGINEERING MANAGER will act as a liaison between Information Systems Security and other cross-functional teams. This individual will be expected build positive working relationships with other teams and vendors.

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $50.52/hr, but your salaried offer will be determined based upon your education and experience.
This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
