Job Description

Here at Chili Piper, we understand that creating world-class brand interactions and experiences--big and small--directly contribute to our overall success. We're looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to be at the heart of our field marketing, a masterful IRL web-weaver that connects Chili Piper to our customers and prospects in new and exciting ways.

As our Senior Field Marketing Manager, you'll define a field marketing plan that supports our revenue strategy while planning, promoting, and executing dozens of events and partner marketing tactics across the globe. You'll leverage data to both ensure programs are a smashing success and create value-added experiences for prospects, customers, and co-marketing partners.

This role is not for someone who is looking to show up to a trade show with a pop-up booth and some swag and call it a day! We're looking for a field marketer with that special (hot) sauce: someone who can't wait to reinvent every touchpoint in the market to surprise and delight our customers, prospects, and partners, building key connections while evangelizing the Chili Piper product and brand.

What you'll do

  • Define the field marketing strategy that support our overall company objectives

  • Help organize and host online and in-person events that create net-new sales opportunities, accelerate existing opportunities and deepen our customer relationships

  • Manage all aspects of event coordination (Chili Piper owned events, partner-sponsored events, 3rd party events, webinars, etc.) including: strategy, objectives, materials creation, event messaging/marketing, signage, speaking opportunities, giveaways, contract negotiation, vendor relations, site selection, registration, agenda scheduling, staffing, on-site production, logistics, and budget

  • Work with technology and channel partners to integrate them into our field and co-marketing initiatives that have direct impact on our revenue (e.g., Blogs, Partner Landing Pages, through-partner ads etc.)

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement an integrated strategy that combines email marketing, paid media, direct mail, and other marketing channels you see fit to promote our events and co-marketing initiatives

  • Research industry events and marketing/campaign opportunities and evaluate sponsorship based on Chili Piper’s objectives and target audience

  • Own one-to-one relationships with follow-up and value-add engagements with prospects, partners, customers and event organizers 

  • Collaborate with demand generation and data & operations teams to measure and track results of campaign activity and make recommendations for future activity (KPI’s, budgets/financial returns, ROI, planning, sizing)

What we're looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience at a B2B technology company (preference for SaaS)

  • Experience implementing integrated campaigns across multiple locations

  • Experience managing budgets

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Deep understanding of the foundations of marketing and how events can play a critical part in moving the business forward

  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal); ability to clearly and concisely craft messages to internal and external stakeholders, including presenting to executive teams

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort managing expectations/keeping teams on track

  • A “figure shit out” attitude (you might not always know all the answers, but you’re eager to learn and figure it out)

  • Based in North America and willing to travel 30%
