About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced, creative, results-oriented Senior Technical Marketing Manager to join our Technical Marketing and Evangelism team, working on technical marketing tasks for Chronosphere’s cloud native observability SaaS product. Our Technical Marketing role will continue to foster Chronosphere’s relationships within the developer and SRE community, keeping tabs on what product teams need to improve customer experiences. You will spend time engaging audiences to generate interest in Chronosphere’s product by publishing blogs, generating hands-on enablement content, presenting at events, delivering livestream events, socializing your efforts, and developing engaging demo video content around the product. As an early member of the technical marketing and evangelism team, this is a great opportunity for a builder who wants to have an outsized impact on the business.

What you will achieve:

  • Execute on strategy, content, assets, and marketing plans to communicate the benefits of Chronosphere to observability, SRE, and engineering leaders along with developers and other technical personas. This includes delivering our messaging across multiple channels including video, web pages, social media, email, events, and community.

  • Write sample code, build creative new conference talks, make compelling tutorial videos, and conduct training and workshops. and write blog posts to engage potential customers and sell Chronosphere’s reputation as a leader in cloud native observability.

  • Be a strategic thinker, problem solver, and communicator who is focused on building meaningful and impactful long-term relationships with developers.

  • Be able to integrate with a smoothly executing and existing team of technical marketing and developers advocacy, hitting the ground running within a well defined framework for execution.

You must have:

  • 3+ years experience in a technical marketing role. Expertise in the cloud native, monitoring, or observability space.

  • Technical marketing background and ability to get into the nitty gritty of cloud native and observability

  • Affinity with and understanding of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) observability projects.

  • Understanding of the open source technology challenges being addressed by organizations in cloud native observability at scale.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven record of socializing technical content to a wide audience.

  • Can stay focused on long term goals while executing day-to-day tactics, especially in a fast-paced environment.

  • Evidence of building marketing content from the ground up, continuously iterating, and designing for scale.
