Job Description
This role reports to the Head of NA Claims and, through management of a team of Regional Claims Executive’s (RCE’s) and PRS CEs, is accountable for the overall claim business internal client and external customer relationships and for facilitating delivery of the Chubb claims brand to business partners, agents, brokers, and insureds in NA. You will serve as a primary point of... entry to NA Claims for internal and external business matters. You will partner with Chubb’s Claims discipline leaders to execute the core tenets of our brand: integrity, empathy, fairness, promptness, and technical expertise. Further, you will be the leader accountable for ensuring that Claims is included as a value-driver in overall business plans, agent and customer Initiatives, and events that promote Chubb’s business presence. This role requires that you understand customer needs and collaborate with the North America Claims and Business Segment leaders/disciplines to drive the execution of claim account management plans, service deliverables and business solutions to these customers. You will also manage your team to develop internal & external business partnerships, engagement on key accounts, and position our organization for success by delivering the critical claim business relationship component of the renowned Chubb Claims Brand.
Core Duties
• Oversight of the full execution and satisfactory application of the NA Claims strategy and coordination with and between brokers, agents, and customers.
• Management and oversight of RCE’s and PRS CE’s
• Establish and execute standards and best practices for improved coordination and performance of stakeholders to protect and improve the Chubb Claims brand.
• Participate as speaker at related external conferences, workshops and seminars in support of the Chubb Claims brand.
• Positively influence the acquisition and retention of key accounts identified by business partners or claims
• Thought leadership – development, organization and delivery of claim educational topics that may be needed for Underwriters, Producers or Claim Staff to ensure CHUBB claims brand is accurately represented to our customers and producers
• Work with business and claims partners to develop and implement operational initiatives which increase the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes and reporting capabilities
• Own and proactively lead the process for managing, resolving, and tracking claim issues that escalate from business partners, agents, or insureds
• Cultivate strategic relationships with appropriate claim executive equivalents for the agents and brokers that do business with Chubb
Qualifications
• In depth knowledge of overall Chubb business
• In depth knowledge of the Chubb product lines offered and the ability to produce and profitably manage the relationship development, strategic partnerships, distribution, operations and underwriting for these products
• Exceptional stakeholder management capability, developed through previous roles and evidenced by positive results in previous roles
• 15+ years of experience in the P&C industry in senior underwriting and/or claims roles
• Experience in leadership and management roles
• Advanced customer orientation
• In-depth knowledge of claims processes, issues, and trends in multiple lines of business
The pay range for the role is $165,000 to $280,500. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found at on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
