As a Manual QA at CI&T, you are responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through various testing methods. This includes functional, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing across iOS, Android, and Web platforms. You will guide clients on technical solutions, create acceptance tests, communicate defects, and collaborate closely with developers and UX designers to ensure optimal testing and delivery. Your role is pivotal in maintaining high quality and performance in our tech transformation projects.

To qualify as a Manual QA at CI&T, you should possess strong communication skills and experience in testing native mobile applications, including APIs and responsive websites. You should have a background in manual and exploratory testing, familiarity with defect management tools, and a desire to learn and grow within a professional services environment. Tertiary qualifications in IT or related fields are highly desirable, along with a proactive attitude and a passion for achieving the best outcomes for clients.

The core responsibilities of a Manual QA at CI&T include reviewing acceptance criteria for testability, executing test cases, reporting results, and collaborating with developers to resolve defects. You'll also contribute testing estimates for agile stories, maintain project and story statuses via Jira, and proactively raise project risks. Participation in project meetings and sharing knowledge within the tech community are also key aspects of your role.
