We are looking for an Assistant General Manager for our Grand Junction, Colorado, office and Western Slope operations area.



Pay Information

$60,000 Per Year

Exempt position (not eligible for overtime under state law) 



Location

Grand Junction is nestled on the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains. It’s a growing city with a small-town feel. While this position will help with business on the Western Slope, the office is in Grand Junction.



The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving profitable growth in our security services within a designated geographical area or business segment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify sales opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, and build strong relationships with clients.

  • Time/Labor Approvals
  • Training Coordination w/Quality & Training Specialist o Required Trainings & First Shift w/Quality & Training Specialist

  • Conflict Resolution (Client and/or Employee)
  • Employee Development – Counseling’s, Evaluations & Progression Recommendations
  • Team Meetings as Needed
  • Status/Position Changes
  • Uniform/Gear/Area Inspections

  • SITE MANAGEMENT
  • Contract Expiration Notices
  • Client Correspondence
  • Site Visits
  • TrackTik Account Information Upkeep
  • Schedule Oversight & Abnormal/Additional Staffing Needs
  • At Client or Managements request, attending meetings or site walkthroughs.
  • Continuous Recruiting (Right People, Right Places)
  • Continuous Training – Coordinate w/Quality & Training Specialist o Site Refreshers, QA Checks, Recertifications
  •   Ensuring Post Orders are Current/Disbursed
  • Overtime Mitigation
  • Developing & Maintaining relationships with Clients
  • Report Review

  • MISCELANEOUS EXPCTATIONS
  •   Timely Response to On-Demand Clients or Late-Notice Service Requests
  • Operational Task Documentation (Reports)
  • Provide assistance to other departmental Hazards.
  • Shift Vacancy & Overtime Mitigation (Billables)
  • Weekly Check-In with General Manager

There is a reasonable expectation that the Assistant General Manager will be in the office during office hours and available outside of office hours for urgent operational demands. All managers are to always keep their calendar up to date and communicate any scheduling changes with management regarding covering shifts, changes to office hours, or time spent in the field in lieu of administrative time. The Assistant General Manager will primarily manage their own time so long as clear communication with management is achieved. Remote work (excluding time spent in the field) is permitted upon prior approval of upper management.


Qualification Requirements
  • Provide credible references and I-9 Employment Eligibility Documentation (legal eligibility to work in the U.S.).
  • Ability to perform job tasks in an extremely professional manner in a customer service driven industry.
  • Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures to be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and key performance indicators.
  • Must be able to perform a variety of tasks.
  • Must be able to lead and direct the work of others.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Ability to stand and walk for several hours per shift.
  • Reliable transportation and proximity to site(s).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Punctuality, never late.
  • Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial reports and sales metrics.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable for achieving operational goals.
  • Passion for the security industry and a commitment to making the world a safer place.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Security, military, or law enforcement background is preferred.


$60,000 - $60,000 a year
