HR Policy & Risk ConsultantHR POLICY & RISK CONSULTANTWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?The Human Resources (HR) Policy and Risk Consultant will work with the Talent Development/Management teams to define the policy strategy. Research, develop, and evaluate Talent Management policies and procedures to ensure they align to strategic goals and meet legislative and regulatory requirements. Manage policy and procedure governance for Talent Management including support of the control testing process. Support critical Governance & Compliance processes related to Talent Management.What you will do• Serve as a compliance subject matter expert for Talent Management by developing, implementing, and maintaining the governance framework for the team.• Drive the strategy for Talent Management Policy development. Working closely with experts across the team.• Develop, implement, and maintain document control systems.• Manage policy and procedure governance as defined by Enterprise Risk Management. Including policy research and development, acquiring policy approvals, communications and training.• Work closely with partners across HR to support continuous improvement of Talent Management by proactively supporting the review and development of processes and practices that align to HR Policy.• Manage evidence/artifact collection and organization for any regulatory matters impacting Talent Management.• Review and document procedures to ensure secure maintenance and quality of records.• Support the end-to-end control testing process including control development, identification of key controls, and partnership with Enterprise Risk Management to complete testing at the appropriate cadence.Must-Have*• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent• Minimum 5 years of financial services/banking experience• Minimum 5 years regulatory compliance/risk experienceSkills and Knowledge• Ability to analyze complex situations and provide guidance, make recommendations, and/or escalate issues to appropriate levels of management.• Ability to read, interpret and implement regulatory statutes• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of an organization.• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.• Effective interpersonal skills.• Excellent time management skills and be accustomed to working with deadlines.• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and/or Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) designation a plus.• Experience in the HR Function a plusCompensationStarting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
