Labor Relations Advisor

The City of Seattle is looking for an experienced Labor Relations Advisor to provide advice, guidance and assistance on labor relations matters related to the City's collective bargaining agreements. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of and experience with public sector labor relations and a passion for serving the City of Seattle.The Labor Relations Advisor will be... responsible for providing interpretation and advice on all matters pertaining to labor relations, including contract interpretation and administration, grievance handling, labor relations strategy, and negotiations. This position will serve as the primary contact for labor relations issues to City departments, and will collaborate with the Human Resources and Labor Relations teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in labor relations in the public sector, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the collective bargaining process, labor relations, and public labor law.
