· As a Senior Bid Manager you will manage and deliver high quality bids for the Central Government division of Civica.
· You will work closely with Sales, Technical Pre-sales, Architecture, Subject Matter Experts, Delivery, Finance and Commercial functions, to develop and win business with existing and new customers.
· The key purpose of this role is to lead, coordinate and unite the bid contributions that are necessary from each part of the business, to ensure that:
o The bid submissions we make are of the highest quality.
o Our customer expectations are met or exceeded.
o Civica’s bid governance processes are followed.
The Senior Bid Manager will:
· Work with the Sales, Solution teams, Subject Matter Experts, Delivery, Finance and Commercial functions to develop and win business with existing and new customers.
· Lead, coordinate and unite the bid contributions that are necessary from each part of the business, to ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded, and that Civica’s bid governance processes are followed.
· Work with sales and solution leads to collaboratively triage and qualify opportunities, to ensure the best fit for Civica both technically and commercially.
· Own and lead bid planning for opportunities assigned to you.
· Ensure compliance to Civica bid governance processes across solution, commercial, finance and delivery assurance.
· Work with the Sales and Solution functions to drive the development of win themes (all bid team members to contribute).
· Own the bid documents that are submitted to the customer, with a focus on maximising Civica’s score and probability of winning. The senior bid manager will:
o Review, challenge, and implement sales messaging throughout the bid response.
o Set out the response structure and look and feel, by leading & owning the creation of bid templates, outlines & story boards.
o Contribute substantively to the bid by authoring new and tailoring existing content.
o Coordinate bid team activities and inputs.
o Review, critique, update, and drive optimisation of bid inputs
o Review and challenge solution and price, to ensure success
o Ensure the bid is compelling, and focused on meeting the client’s needs, underpinned by our technical solution and delivery methodologies.
o Plan and execute bid reviews in line with the Civica bid process.
· Own all communication through the bid portal, including clarification questions and dissemination of responses.
· Review, analyse, learn, and implement improvements derived from bid feedback.
· Attend client meetings and presentations as required
· Continuously improve bid process & collateral including updating the track record and methods library.
· Work collaboratively in support of other bid leads as required.
· Work comfortably across multiple opportunities at the same time.
