JOB Summary
The Claim Associate will provide customer centric service processing entry-level claims including payment, denial and status updates. Performs assigned tasks within the Claims department in accordance with established procedures and guidelines while developing the skills and knowledge required for adjudicating more complex claims as needed.
The claim associate would be expected to be able to communicate simple status and claim information to customers, both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
Support call center service agents with escalated service, claims and agent calls inquiries for both Worksite and Core channels
Provide excellent customer service while resolving complex customer inquiries and supervisor escalated issues
Demonstrated proficiency in assisting customer service agents and promptly delivered feedback to Supervisors as needed for coaching
Provided excellent customer service by maintaining a first call resolution approach and addressing all servicing issues
Consistently meets or exceeds expectations for departmental standards related to quality, average handle time, auxiliary time, after call work and other KPI’s
Exhibits and practices the Organization’s Common Purposes and Shared Traits
Understands organizational objectives, supports process improvements, and provides feedback to leadership
Willingness to participate in partnership training and mentoring of junior Representatives
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
Expected to be able work various shifts within 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. CST timeframe

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

College degree preferred
2 plus years of customer experience or claims experience
