Clarify was founded in late 2023 by Austin Hay (Ex Branch, mParticle, Runway, and Ramp), Patrick Thompson (Ex EMC, Atlassian, Co-founder Iteratively; sold to Amplitude), and Ondrej Hrebicek (Ex Microsoft, Co-founder Syncplicity; Sold to EMC, Co-founder Iteratively; sold to Amplitude) Prior to founding Clarify, Austin worked as an early employee at multiple high velocity startups, and sold two small businesses. Patrick and Ondrej worked together at Syncplicity, and later built and sold Iteratively to Amplitude.

About the Role

As a founding front-end software engineer, you will shape our front-end experience design for the future of Clarify. You will work closely with our founders to build out products zero to one, make foundational technical design decisions, and own large engineering scope. We are building with AI and ML features in mind, so you'll be working with the latest technology on projects that will fundamentally define the next generation of how go to market teams operate. This is the first dedicated front-end engineering role with high impact, high visibility, and high growth potential. We are looking for self-starters, previous founders, and 100X engineers who love front-end engineering work.

What You’ll Do

• Work with the team to design, build, and maintain the backend and front end of our CRM application.

• Partner with our founders to set the strategic engineering and design vision for our back-end and front-end applications.

• Have high ownership over technical decisions and direction.

• Build with AI using the latest ML and LLM technologies, incorporating advanced workflows and experiences into the front-end experience.

• Work with the team to build data integrations with various tools in the sales ecosystem to power our product.

• Oversee the development of production-ready code and ensure the highest quality of engineering output.

• Build, maintain and update APIs and other aspects of our developer experience.

• Act as a founding engineer, helping educate and guide all future engineers in our technology stack.

• Establish standards and best practices for engineering.

• Work with other incredible 100x engineers to build a never before seen CRM.

What You Need

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.

• Demonstrated personal and professional maturity.

• Experience taking software from ideation to production.

• Excitement for integrating the latest LLMs into products.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Startup experience or a desire to build your own company one day.
