About The Role

We are looking for an Associate to join our Product, Research & Innovation (PR&I) team that will help us advance the capabilities of our ESG Data 🚀

The role provides an opportunity to get to know complex sustainability issues and learn about frameworks and solutions that address them. Working close to the methodologies and the data, you’ll quickly become a knowledgeable individual in the field of ESG. 🪴

What You’ll Be Doing

Working as an Associate in our PR&I team, you will be responsible for… 

• Reviewing company-level sustainability issues including environmental, social and corporate governance practices, and synthesizing these findings into broader frameworks.
• Procuring, verifying,and processing data on sustainability by browsing through various financial, exchange, and government regulator websites and materials. 
• Assessing trade-offs between different methodological options to calculate indicators and propose the most appropriate solution for our product.
• Identifying and proposing improvements and refinements to our methodologies.

Location 

The role is based in Madrid  🌍 

Way of Working: Remote / Hybrid

What You’ll Need

• A degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or any other quantitative discipline.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or Python languages. Ability to work with complex data sets.
• > 1 year of previous working experience linked to data. 
• Outstanding quantitative and critical thinking skills.
• Self-starter, able to take ownership and initiative, with high energy and stamina.
• Decisive and action-oriented, able to make rapid decisions even when they are short of information.
• Highly motivated, independent, and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level-proficient user).

Nice to have

• Prior knowledge of the energy sector is an advantage.
• Prior knowledge of corporate governance, ESG, and/or financial markets is an advantage.
