CLERICAL ASSOCIATE - NICU Full-time

We are currently seeking a full-time Clerical Associate- NICU to join our team of professionals. The Neonatal Intensive Care Clerical Associate coordinates activities of the nursing unit through communication and requisition/management of supplies as well as performs general receptionist and clerical duties to support unit clients. This position is expected to work 36 hours a week, 7PM to 7AM.

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR CLERICAL ASSOCIATE- NICU CANDIDATES?

  • The Clerical Associate will have a high school diploma or the equivalent
  • Three to six months related clerical experience or one year clerical training from college or technical school.


WHAT ARE THE CLERICAL ASSOCIATE- NICU RESPONSIBILITIES?

The Neonatal Intensive Care Clerical Associate compiles accurate data and enters the information into the electronically medical record.

  • Able to navigate the electronic medical record to complete necessary aspects of the role.
  • Accurately collects, compiles and submits data for Birth Certificate and Paternity Affidavits.
  • Follow appropriate infection prevention practices and bio hazard exposure plan.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and completeness in all job duties.
  • Attends all required training programs and can describe responsibilities related to general safety, unit safety and job related hazards.
  • Demonstrates skill and judgment necessary to provide non-direct patient care/support services.
  • Demonstrates customer focused verbal and non-verbal behaviors and communication skills.
