The Client Associate will join a seasoned eight-person Wealth Advisor Team with over $2.6 billion in assets under management within Neuberger Private Wealth Management business. The candidate will provide comprehensive client service support to the wealth advisor’s high net worth clients, including servicing, maintaining and growing relationships. Additionally, candidate will support the production of client performance and risk reports, including economic and capital markets exhibits and commentary.
Responsibilities:
Client Servicing (60% of role)
Regular and proactive contact with clients regarding; new account documents, LOA’s, account updates, checks and wires, account performance, trade activity, transfers, statement inquiries, research, fees, objective changes, portfolio market values, stock quotes, online access, etc.
Initiate new account opening process through centralized Private Client Services Team.
Perform account maintenance including but not limited to; funds disbursements, name/address changes, gifting securities, ACATS and DTC transfers, cost updates, billing/fees, and entering client directed orders.
Act as a liaison between Wealth Advisor, Neuberger Berman Portfolio Managers, Asset Management Business Control (AMBC), Investment Strategy Group (NBISG) and internal and external operational groups.
Monitor account activity including trades, cash flow, debits, margin, tech shorts, performance, transfers, allocations, fees etc. by utilizing various in house portfolio systems.
Assist with creation of Financial Plans.
Maintain account information and new business pipeline in Salesforce database.
Participate in client prospecting and portfolio analysis.
Client Analysis and Reporting (40% of role)
Provide customized reporting and analysis, in accordance with established industry and firm standards and requirements.
Assist in the development of ad hoc portfolio and product-related presentations highlighting the Firm’s platform of equity, fixed income, and alternative strategies.
Compile portfolio specific reports for delivery to clients, including asset allocation, investment performance, valuation analysis, capital markets outlook, portfolio positioning, macro-economic and strategy centric themes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Science, or Math.
Series 7 and 66 licenses within 6-months of joining the firm
Chartered Financial Analyst designation, or similar, preferred.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
Proficiency in MS Office including MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook products
Accountable with excellent attention to detail; strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize work within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
Team player and a desire to collaborate with others.
