We are seeking a diverse group of professionals to join our team in our October Client Services Representative class. This is a Part-Time role, where you will work Saturdays and Sundays, with the option of working Mondays if you desire.

The Role

The Client Services Representative is accountable for facilitating positive interaction with American Century’s internal and external clients by providing transactional and service excellence. This individual interprets and completes client requests received by mail, fax, and online, to ensure the request is completed accurately and timely.

Major Responsibilities

Interpret and complete client requests for various account types, including individual, joint and retirement accounts.
Processing on these account types include review of legal documents, knowledge of IRS regulations, redemptions, and much more.
Use problem-solving skills to perform in-depth research and make good business decisions.
Communicate with clients directly or through American Century service teams to resolve issues and provide service excellence.
Remain current on all policies, procedures, and system improvements by attending ongoing training and team/department meetings, and by appropriately applying available resources.
Work cohesively and proactively as a member of a Client Services team while providing support to business partners and internal clients.

Requirements for the Role

Associates degree or some college preferred (or any equivalent combination of education and work experience).
Crucial communication and task organization skills
Sophisticated skill in computer usage and the ability to type 30 WPM minimum.
Ability to practice resiliency, flexibility, and relationship management.

Work Conditions

Part-time, non-exempt
Hybrid work schedule, following initial on-site training period.
Weekly schedule: Work a total of 16 to 24 hours over the weekend, which could be either Saturday and Sunday, or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, whichever is preferred.
