Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 3-4 months (Possible extension)

Pay range: $54/hr on W2

Schedule: 9 am to 5pm Mon to Fri

Job Description:

· The successful candidates will complete utilization management reviews for medications. These reviews will include prior authorization, quantity limit, and formulary/step therapy reviews.

· Perform pharmacy and medical benefit coverage determination and utilization management reviews for Client Commercial Coverage Review Department (CCRD) as primary clinical decision maker.

· Apply critical thinking to achieve proper clinical decisions when performing clinical reviews

· Utilize multiple systems and other clinical resources to achieve proper decisions in utilization management reviews

· Work and maneuver within queue systems that prioritize clinical reviews

· Be able to make a clinical decision quickly and decide and act with or without all information

· Work and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary clinical team to provide a customer centric experience

Skills:

· Currently Licensed Registered Pharmacist with 5+ years of experience with an active, unrestricted license to practice in a state or territory of the United States

· Utilization Management Experience Preferred

· Experience with Specialty Pharmacy / Pharmaceuticals Preferred

· Clinical knowledge, decision making, attention to detail
