Come join us!Position Location: Remote, USAbout The TeamThe Support Operations is a team of engineers and data scientists who write applications to improve the efficiency of the Global Cloudflare Customer Support Team. We are responsible for a diverse mix of systems and network tooling that leverage machine learning to provide intelligent responses to Cloudflare customers' and diagnostics across the Cloudflare edge network.What You’ll DoAs a Frontend Engineer on the Support Operations team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the frontend pages that enable our customers to receive support for Cloudflare products. Our pages are feature rich and offer customers a variety of dynamic information and opportunities to self service their issues. As Cloudflare continues to grow our demand for top notch support becomes ever increasing. An ideal candidate will need to be able to rapidly evolve the existing pages, while being responsibly independent with technical decision making.Key Responsibilities:• Collaborate with the product team to design and implement user-friendly and responsive web applications.• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code using React and TypeScript.• Implement best practices for user interface development and ensure cross-browser compatibility.• Work closely with backend developers to integrate front-end components with API endpoints.• Write unit tests and perform debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase.• Optimize web applications for a smooth user experience.• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web development and propose innovative solutions to enhance the portal.Qualifications:• Proven experience in front-end development with React and TypeScript.• Strong understanding of modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).• Experience building tests for front end applications.• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Mobx.• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.• Ability to work in an Agile development environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.• Strong communication and teamwork skills.Bonus Points• Experience using Cloudflare’s products.• Experience of Zendesk and/or Salesforce, particularly APIs.• Familiarity with event based analytics systems.• Design experience.• Exposure to AI technologies.CompensationCompensation may be adjusted depending on work location.• For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $137,000 - $157,000.• For New York City, Washington, and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $154,000 - $188,000• For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $162,000 - $198,000EquityThis role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.BenefitsCloudflare offers a complete package of benefits and programs to support you and your family.
