Network Security Engineer

Cloudflare is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to support our largest and most technically sophisticated customers in resolving technical problems and mitigating security threats.

Skills

Advanced understanding of modern internet protocols
Packet capture analysis
Experience in command line and tools
Scripting experience in languages like Bash or Python

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers via chat, email, and phone
Provide DDoS mitigation for OSI layers 3, 4, & 7
Work with Engineering and Operations teams to mitigate attacks
Advise customers on using Cloudflare tools to filter malicious traffic

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
