About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Field Marketing Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving our event marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a sharp focus on creating top-tier event experiences. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing events that align with our business goals, ensuring that each event not only runs smoothly but also delivers measurable results. Your expertise in managing logistics, coordinating with vendors, and engaging with attendees will be crucial in elevating our brand presence and generating high-quality leads.
About the Team
You will collaborate closely with our sales team to strategically select and optimize our participation in key events, ensuring our time, budget, and resources are well spent. Your role includes vetting leads, securing speaking opportunities for our CEO and actively participating in conferences to enhance our brand presence. You'll also manage logistics, oversee on-site activities, and provide post-event analysis to refine our event strategy.
What You’ll Do
Within 3 months, you will:
Manage all conferences/ events Clutch attends - this includes everything from registration (and sponsorships), to ensuring Clutch has a speaking engagement of some sort, making dinner reservation for sales team to take clients and prospects to, work with channel partner once attendee list is received, and work with the sales team to know who is attending - help with travel, etc.
Attend 2 conferences by the end of the year to get a better idea of where we are now, and where we want to go! Will help gain a better understanding of what these events look like and what we need to get out of them!
Within 6 months, you will:
Establish clear KPI’s for all events! Strategize 2025 events, ensuring we are investing our time, money and energy in the proper ways (quality vs quantity) — how we show up makes a big difference!
Partner with TruStage and other vendors to host happy hours, dinners and sidebar events at conferences!
Help with all marketing materials for all conferences/ events, video flyers, one pagers, testimonials, white paper, business cards, etc.
Within 9 months, you will:
Strategic/long-term goal = help create and manage a Clutch conference (for prospects and clients)
Coordinate larger CEO events (golf outings, sports events, etc)
Please note that this role may evolve as our business needs change, so we appreciate your flexibility and adaptability.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of experience in event planning and coordination
Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment, preferably a startup
Has prior experience working with credit unions
Ability to be autonomous
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
Ability and willingness to travel and manage on-site event logistics (approx. 8 events a year) ~50%
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
